SCOUTING REPORT
|
Felix has struggled since being drafted in the second round in the 2006 draft. His biggest issue is a lack of control, leading to a career 7.5 BB/9 ratio, which is actually higher than his 7.4 K/9 ratio. Felix has good velocity, but that obviously hasn’t translated to production at the lower levels. After starting off in high-A in 2009, he moved to State College for the remainder of the season. He’s starting off in high-A in 2010, but there’s a good chance he’ll either be moved down, or released, by some point mid-season, especially if his numbers don’t improve. |
