WTM’s PLAYER PROFILE
Bissonette was a four-year starter at Baylor.  He didn’t put up big offensive numbers.  He had an OPS of .678 and .692 as a freshman and sophomore.  His best year came as a junior, when he hit 269/374/440.  His power fell off as a senior, as he hit 273/358/404, for some of the weaker numbers on the team.  He attempted only one steal, so he doesn’t seem to be a speedster.  He signed quickly.

2019
R+:  266/343/356, 188 AB, 13 2B, 2 3B, 20 BB, 28 K, 6-8 SB

Bissonette was the regular second baseman at Bristol.  He had a solid season at the plate, with good plate discipline.  Defensively, he was very steady, committing only one error in 45 starts at second.

2021
AA:  229/302/286, 231 AB, 10 2B, 1 HR, 24 BB, 51 K, 1-2 SB

The Pirates jumped Bissonette all the way up to Altoona, where he spent the season as a utility player.  He played mostly third, but spent a little time at second and short.  He hit about like you’d expect given the jump he was making.

Bissonette will probably be in a utility role somewhere in the upper minors in 2022.
