Hernandez improved a lot in his second DSL season, then pitched in a few games there in 2011 before moving up to the GCL.  He has a quirky motion and throws in the upper 80s to low 90s.

Struggled badly while pitching at age 17 in the DSL, getting hit hard and recording a lot more walks than Ks.

Made a lot of progress across the board, although his numbers weren’t exactly good.

Hernandez didn’t play for unknown reasons, presumably an injury.

It may have been the aftermath of the injury, but Hernandez struggled in the GCL, walking more than he struck out.

Hernandez was developing very slowly before he missed the 2012 season and didn’t make progress in 2013.  He could return to the GCL in 2014.
