SCOUTING REPORT
|
Huber hasn’t done anything eye opening yet in his minor league career, and his best performance, which was a .318/.365/.455 line in 277 at-bats in low-A in 2009, came at the age of 24. Huber advanced to high-A in 2009, and played a key role in the Lynchburg Hillcats winning the Carolina League Championship. In the deciding game five of the best of five first round series against Wilmington, Huber nailed two runners at the plate on throws from left field, keeping the Hillcats ahead, and allowing them to eventually win the game and advance to the championship round. Huber will need to speed up his progression in the minors, mostly at the plate, in order to become more than organizational depth. |
