SCOUTING REPORT
|
When he was drafted, Walker was considered a solid all around catcher. His hitting skills looked good in his first season as a pro, but he has yet to reach that level in A-ball. He struggled in 2009, both performance wise and injury wise, but will find himself in Bradenton to start the 2010 season. Walker will backup Tony Sanchez to start the season, and probably finds himself behind Eric Fryer after Sanchez moves up to Altoona. |
