Luis Oviedo was placed on the injured list and Kyle Keller returned. I have no idea why this is a thing. I highly doubt that he’s injured and the Pirates have seen enough of Keller, but I’m just reporting what is happening. Somehow the Pirates only found 29.2 innings for a pitcher with upside despite the fact that he was healthy all year and the team had zero chance to compete this season. Yes, I know he was on the injured list before, but we all know how the Rule 5 draft requirements work.
