Some roster moves to be made today
Derek Shelton says the Pirates are activating Michael Chavis and Anthony Alford today

The Pirates announced that Chavis and Alford are replacing Hoy Park and Rodolfo Castro on the active roster. Hoy hit .200/.250/.317 in 18 games with the Pirates. Castro was hitting .198/.258/.395 in 31 games. He’s going back to Altoona. Hoy is headed to Indianapolis.
