The Pirates DFA’d Ka’ai Tom today
They are signing Yoshi Tsutsugo
Gustavo Polanco, a catcher in the FCL, was released yesterday to open up a roster spot in the FCL.
John Nogowski is the second player to be designated for assignment today. That was done to make room on the 26-man roster for Yoski Tustsugo, who is active today
When Yoshi Tsutsugo gets into a game for the Pittsburgh Pirates, he will be their 56th player used this season. That will be a new franchise record, now in their 140th season. They did it without September call-ups to pad the stats
