The Pittsburgh Pirates (32-54) are on the road for a four-game series leading up to the All-Star break. They take on the New York Mets (45-38), starting tonight at 7:10 PM. JT Brubaker will make his 16th start for the Pirates. He has a 4.09 ERA in 83.2 innings, with 81 strikeouts and a 1.14 WHIP. The Mets will counter with Taijuan Walker, who is making his 16th start. He has a 2.44 ERA in 85 innings, with 87 strikeouts and a 1.01 WHIP.

UPDATE: Game has been postponed. Saturday doubleheader. I’ll leave the article up for any non-prospect discussions, otherwise head over to the Prospect Watch for that stuff. Enjoy your night.

Here are the lineups:

Yesterday’s Umpire Scorecard. Lots of missed calls here, but also a lot more pitches than usual in appears, so the percentages aren’t bad

If they can get the game in, this stuff is all relevant, otherwise it just becomes a discussion post. This was an hour ago…
