Game Recap:  Indianapolis won 5-3 over Toledo on Wednesday afternoon. The opposing pitcher was former Pirates pitcher Drew Hutchison, who allowed four runs in 4.2 innings. Beau Sulser got the start and pitched well through five innings, allowing two runs that were both unearned, on four hits and a walk. Joe Jacques, Shea Spitzbarth and Kyle Keller each followed with a shutout inning, then Braeden Ogle closed out things with one run in the ninth on a solo homer. Will Craig had his second straight big game. Last night he homered twice. Today he had a homer, double, single and a walk in four trips to the plate. Craig played most of the game at third base after Dylan Busby left with an injury. Kevin Kramer hit his first homer of the season. Cole Tucker collected his first double of the year. Anthony Alford is still looking for his first hit in Triple-A this year, but he walked three times. Travis Swaggerty is 2-for-19 since collecting three hits on Opening Day.

Game Recap: Altoona won 7-2 over Binghamton behind homers by Cal Mitchell and Oneil Cruz. Travis MacGregor started and he went 3.1 innings, allowing a run on four hits and no walks, while striking out six batters. In his debut this year he allowed three runs over 2.1 innings. He has 12 strikeouts in 5.2 innings. Cam Alldred retired all eight batters he faced in his 2.2 innings. Shea Murray pitched a scoreless seventh despite throwing 33 pitches (18 strikes). John O’Reilly tossed the final two innings and allowed one run. Cruz homered for the second night in a row. He also drew two walks. Mitchell hit his first homer of the year. Mason Martin hit his third double and first triple. Arden Pabst had a single, a double and an RBI. Ji-Hwan Bae stole his first base of the season.

Game Recap: Bradenton dropped a 4-3 decision to Dunedin on Wednesday night. Starter Santiago Florez allowed three runs over five innings, leaving the game with a tie score. He threw four scoreless innings in his season debut last week. JC Flowers allowed one run on five hits in three innings and took the loss. It was the first run he allowed in nine innings of work. Bradenton had ten walks in the game including three each by Sergio Campana and Sammy Siani. They scored just one run off of those six walks and it was a steal of home by Campana that made that happen. He is 1-for-17 with four walks and three stolen bases. Siani is batting just .167, but he has eight walks in seven games. Dariel Lopez is batting .310 in seven games. Jasiah Dixon pinch-ran in ninth inning and picked up his sixth stolen base.
