The Pittsburgh Pirates (8-9) are in Detroit for game two of a doubleheader against the Detroit Tigers (6-11). Right-hander Miguel Yajure will be making his debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He has been called up as the 27th man for today’s game. He came over from the New York Yankees in the Jameson Taillon trade. The 22-year-old Yajure made three relief appearances in the majors last year, allowing one run in seven innings. Right-hander Spencer Turnbull is making his season debut for the Tigers. Rodolfo Castro is making his Major League debut.
