The Pittsburgh Pirates (3-6) take on the San Diego Padres (7-3) on Monday night in the first of a four-game series. The Pirates are sending Trevor Cahill to the mound for his second start, while the Padres are countering with Yu Darvish. Cahill allowed seven runs over four innings in his debut against the Cincinnati Reds last week. Darvish is making his third start. He allowed four runs in 4.2 innings in his debut, then came back with one run over six innings against the San Francisco Giants last Tuesday.
