JT Brubaker gets the start. He will be followed in some order by Clay Holmes, Chasen Shreve, Nick Mears, Max Kranick and Braeden Ogle.
The Pirates gave an update on Steven Brault, and they also announced that Blake Cederlind had Tommy John surgery yesterday. The Brault news opens up a starting pitcher spot for at least the first two months of the season.
Steven Brault sustained a "rather moderate arm muscle strain." Per director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk, the Pirates are keeping him from throwing for the next month and then will reassess.
