The 29-year-old Frazier has two more years remaining before he reaches free agency at the end of the 2022 season. He had a rough go of it last year at the plate, posting his lowest OPS in five seasons with the Pirates. Frazier hit .230/.297/.364 in 58 games. He has a career .749 OPS in 510 big league games. His defense has improved to the point that he accumulated 0.7 dWAR last year in the limited schedule, his third straight season posting positive dWAR, after being rated below average in his first two seasons. He was a finalist for the Gold Glove award for the second season in a row. Frazier is scheduled to make $4.3 M this season.
We will update this post if anything else comes out today.
