In Australia on Sunday, Robbie Glendinning had quite a doubleheader. In the two games, he went 5-for-6 with a double, three walks, six runs scored and three RBIs. What makes it even more impressive is that both games were seven innings and his team didn’t bat in the seventh inning in either game, so he reached base eight times in 12 innings. He’s hitting .283/.397/.434 in 16 games. Here’s one of the RBI singles:

Bligh Madris went 1-for-5 with a single on Sunday. Madris was the only Pirates player to see action on Monday. He went 1-for-2 with two walks. He’s hitting .250/.323/.393 through 18 games.
For reference this year, the average OPS in the ABL this year is just about .685 for the season.
