Cardboard Bucs: Five New Cards Added Today

It’s Monday afternoon so that means that it is once again time to add new Pittsburgh Pirates cards to our Cardboard Bucs store. Today we have a special drop with five new cards. That brings the total to 26 cards currently in stock, with quantities available for each card. Most of the cards are limited quantity, including all of the ones that we are adding today. I’m actually going to list them from least available to most, though even the last card would still be considered slightly limited. All of the cards added today are just $1 each. Before I get into the cards, I’ll note that we still offer free shipping on orders of $25 or more by using the code “CARDS” during checkout. At the bottom I’ve noted the recent additions to our store over the last handful of Mondays. Enough of the intro, here are the new cards.

2020 Bowman Kevin Newman

Our first of two Kevin Newman cards added to the store, which are also our first Newman cards in the store since we sold out of his 2019 Bowman card two months ago. This is his 2020 Bowman and we have it available in very limited quantities.  This card offers a nice close-up action shot on defense.

2020 Bowman Bryan Reynolds

This is the first Bryan Reynolds card that we have had available in our store. His 2020 Bowman card shows him batting left-handed, with a little fancy photoshopping showing the bat (top and bottom) outside of the picture border of the card. We have this card in a very limited quantity

2020 Topps Kevin Newman

This particular card is my favorite pose among the group. Newman gets the Future Stars tag on this horizontal pose, which looks like he’s attempting to complete a double play. We stocked this card based on the eye appeal of the action/horizontal pose.

2020 Bowman Calvin Mitchell

We also have Mitchell’s 2017 Bowman Draft rookie available in our store, but we sold out on his 2018 Bowman cards, so we restocked his supply with his newest offering from Bowman. Mitchell spent the 2019 season with Bradenton, where he hit a career high 15 homers at 20 years old. Mitchell has been ranked among the top 100 prospects in baseball by two different sources. He wasn’t in Altoona this season due to the limited roster space available, but he’s been at the Fall Instructional League, which is wrapping up this week.

2020 Topps Mitch Keller

Our supply of Mitch Keller cards is starting to run low, even though we still have his 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Bowman cards in stock. So we are adding his 2020 Topps cards today. We were actually planning on making this next Monday’s new card, but we wanted to replenish the stock of his cards earlier just in case (we will still have a new card/cards next Monday). Here’s the 2020 card:
