First Pitch: Links and Site Updates

My newest article is up at Baseball America, looking at Ke’Bryan Hayes as the Pirates’ Rookie of the Year. My question to you in the comments: Do you think Hayes will win the NL Rookie of the Year award?

John Dreker broke the news last night of the latest Pirates international signing, which comes in just short of the deadline.

Today is a site update day for First Pitch, and we’ve got a few big ones.

The first is that we’re cleaning up some things here on Pittsburgh Baseball Network. Instead of having separate sites for No Quarter and Pirates Prospects, both sites will be combined under PBN – Pirates. All of the articles are currently on one site, and a new PBN – Pirates homepage will be unveiled by tomorrow.

Pittsburgh Baseball History, or PBN – History, will remain on its own site.

The main PBN page will get an update when the Pirates page is finished.

The player pages have also moved to this site. We’ll be working to upgrade the search feature so that all Pirates coverage and player pages can be found searching on this site. Eventually that will expand to allowing for the entire network to share a single search function.

We’ve updated some things behind the scenes, specifically with social media posts, so you’ll see more updates from us on the main site accounts. Be sure to follow PBN on Twitter or Facebook for all of our latest updates.

The 2020 Prospect Guide returns to print for our tenth  we are releasing three variant covers, featuring Mitch Keller and Ke’Bryan Hayes. Visit our shop page to order these extremely limited items!
