Major League Baseball released the 2021 Spring Training schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The Pittsburgh Pirates begin their schedule on February 27th on the road against the Boston Red Sox. The home opener takes place the following day in Bradenton against the Atlanta Braves. The schedule wraps up on March 30th, two days before the 2021 season opener at Wrigley Field against the Chicago Cubs.
The Pirates will have a total of 33 Spring Training games in 32 days, with two days off and three split-squad days. They will play 17 home games and 16 on the road. The teams that will come to Bradenton are:

Yankees
The Pirates will visit all of those same teams on the road.
