The Pittsburgh Pirates lost right-handed pitcher Carson Fulmer to the Baltimore Orioles on waivers on Saturday afternoon. Fulmer joined the Pirates via waivers on August 24th from the Detroit Tigers. After being added to the 28-man roster a week ago today, he was designated for assignment on Wednesday. Fulmer did not make an appearance while with the Pirates. With the Tigers this year, the 26-year-old had a 6.75 ERA in 6.2 innings over seven appearances, with three walks and seven strikeouts. He was the eighth overall pick in the 2015 draft.
