The Pittsburgh Pirates (11-25) take on the Cincinnati Reds (17-21) in game two of a doubleheader on Friday night. The Pirates lost game one by a 4-2 score. Cody Ponce will be on the mound for the Pirates in game two, going up against right-hander Trevor Bauer. Ponce threw 5.2 shutout innings in his only big league start back on August 27th. Bauer has made six starts this season. He has a 2.13 ERA in 38 innings, with 54 strikeouts and an outstanding 0.79 WHIP.
