The Pittsburgh Pirates issued a press release on Thursday morning to announce that team president Travis Williams has tested positive for COVID-19. According to the release, he felt symptoms while the team was on the road and immediately isolated while awaiting test results, which prevented any impact on others around him, which didn’t include any players, coaches or baseball operations support staff. There have been no other positive results within the organization.
