The Pirates lost 5-4 last night in the series opener. Joe Musgrove makes his third start of the season today. He has a 4.76 ERA in 11.1 innings, with 15 strikeouts. The Twins are countering with right-hander Jose Berrios, who is also making his third start. He has a 7.00 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in nine innings, with seven strikeouts. Berrios had a 3.68 ERA in 200.1 innings last year.
Derek Shelton announced prior to the game that JT Brubaker will take Mitch Keller’s spot in the rotation. Brubaker will start on Thursday.
